Indian Council of World Affairs

Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), an institute of national importance under the ICWA Act, 2001, India’s oldest and leading foreign policy think tank, located at New Delhi and International Institute of Migration and Development (IIMAD), a centre for academic research devoted to all aspects of international migration, registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act,1955, located at Thiruvananthapuram, have agreed to collaborate in pursuit of their goal of expanding awareness and knowledge on international migration and mobility, international affairs and Indian foreign policy. The MoU provides for collaboration in conducting joint research activities such as studies, publications, seminars on agreed topics of international migration and mobility, international affairs and Indian foreign policy, also offering internships to students of IIMAD.    

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 27 May 2025 between ICWA and IIMAD, and will be valid for a period of three years.
