The ICWA Research Faculty is the backbone of ICWA’s programme of work. It engages in all the three pillars of ICWA’s work viz. research, publications and seminars. It is headed by Director General who closely monitors, shapes and guides its work. The Director General is assisted in this task by Director(Research). The Faculty comprises Senior Research Fellows, Research Fellows, Research Associates and Research Analysts who have varying years of experience and qualification in the field of International Relations and Political Science and who among them cover a wide range of area and thematic specializations. The Faculty’s research work is routinely published on the Council’s website in the form of Viewpoints, Issue Briefs, Special Reports and Sapru House Papers. The Research Faculty coordinates the research and publication work of the Council by external experts and routinely contributes to the curating of Council’s myriad discussions on issues of interest to International Relations and Diplomacy. The Research Faculty participates in the Council’s national outreach programme to create awareness on foreign policy and international affairs as well as in the Council’s dialogues and interactions with its international partners and interlocutors. The Council has a robust Internship Programme. Research Interns from across academic institutions in India are taken in under the programme and receive guidance and learnings on International Relations through research and participation in the Council’s discussions and conversations.
