Membership is open to Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of Legislative Assemblies (MLAs), academicians, diplomats, civil servants, journalists writing in the field of foreign relations, members of AID

Reading room access and borrowing of 2 books for 14 days

Valid ID card, Aadhaar card, and proof of residence in NCR

Borrowing - Student

Postgraduate / M.Phil. /Ph.D./research scholars pursuing study or research in any discipline of social sciences in regular mode only (not in distance/online mode).

Rs. 500.00 per annum + Rs. 2,800.00 (Refundable Security)

Reading room access and borrowing of 2 books for 14 days

Valid ID card, Aadhaar card, and proof of residence in NCR

Consultation

UPSC aspirants who have opted for any discipline of social sciences as an optional subject will be eligible upon submission of the prescribed application form.

Rs. 6,000 per annum (Non-refundable)

Consultation and reading room access (no borrowing facility)

ICWA & MEA Staff

Available to existing staff of ICWA and MEA Staff only.

Others

Individuals who demonstrate a clear academic or professional interest, but fall outside the specified categories, may be considered for membership on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval of the competent authority in ICWA.

Referral

Students or research scholars pursuing studies in international relations, foreign policy, diplomacy, or political science may apply for a one-week referral membership. Referral membership may also be offered to categories other than students based on case by case approval by competent authorities
