Indian Council of World Affairs

Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), an institute of national importance under the ICWA Act, 2001, located at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi abd Nalanda University an Institution Deemed to be University, located at Rajgir, Nalanda District, 803116, Bihar, have agreed to collaborate in pursuit of their goal of expanding awareness and knowledge on international affairs and Indian foreign policy. 

Hon'ble Vice-President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar recently visited Nalanda University on 29^th September and had announced an MoU of ICWA with Nalanda University. Hon'ble Vice-President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar is the President of ICWA. 

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 31^st October 2023 between ICWA and Nalanda University, which will be valid for a period of three years. 

The objective of the MoU will be to organize studies and seminars on agreed topics on international affairs and Indian foreign policy and both parties have agreed to collaborate in the following manner:

1. Organizing joint events;
2. Undertaking joint studies through mutually agreed modalities on issues of common interest;
3. iii. If requested by Nalanda University, ICWA will consider offering internships to students of Nalanda University aimed at building their capacity / skills in international affairs and foreign policy.
