Media Release on Conclusion of Memorandum of Understanding between Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) and Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, 7 March 2024 - Indian Council of World Affairs (Government of India)

Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), an institute of national importance under the ICWA Act, 2001, located at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi 110001, and Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Nagpur, established by Maharashtra Government in 2015, located at Waranga, Butibori, Nagpur, Maharashtra-441108, have agreed to collaborate in pursuit of their goal of expanding awareness and knowledge on international affairs and Indian foreign policy.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 1^st March 2024 between ICWA and MNLU, Nagpur, which will be valid for a period of three years.

The objective of the MoU is to organise studies and seminars on agreed topics on international affairs and Indian foreign policy and both parties have agreed to collaborate in the following manner:

Organizing joint events;
Undertaking joint studies through mutually agreed modalities on issues of common interest;
If requested by MNLU, Nagpur, ICWA will consider offering internships to students of MNLU, Nagpur, aimed at building their capacity / skills in international affairs and foreign policy.
