Indian Council of World Affairs

Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), an institute of national importance under the ICWA Act, 2001, located at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi 110001, and Gautam Buddha University, Noida, established in 2002 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh Act (9) of 2002, located at Yamuna Expressway, Greater Noida-201312, Gautam Buddha Nagar U.P., have agreed to collaborate in pursuit of their goal of expanding awareness and knowledge on international affairs and Indian foreign policy. 

Hon'ble Vice-President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar recently visited Gautam Buddha University on 24^th December 2023 and had announced an MoU of ICWA with Gautam Buddha University. Hon'ble Vice-President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar is the President of ICWA. 

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 27^th March 2024 between ICWA and Gautam Buddha University, which will be valid for a period of three years. 

The objective of the MoU is to organise studies and seminars on agreed topics on international affairs and Indian foreign policy and both parties have agreed to collaborate in the following manner:

1. Organizing joint events;
2. Undertaking joint studies through mutually agreed modalities on issues of common interest;
3. iii. If requested by Gautam Buddha University, ICWA will consider offering internships to students of Gautam Buddha University, aimed at building their capacity / skills in international affairs and foreign policy.
