Indian Council of World Affairs

Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), an institute of national importance under the ICWA Act, 2001, located at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi 110001, and Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer, established in the year 2009 by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009), located at NH-8, Bandarsindri, Ajmer-305817, Rajasthan, have agreed to collaborate in pursuit of their goal of expanding awareness and knowledge on international affairs and Indian foreign policy. 

Hon'ble Vice-President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar recently visited Central University of Rajasthan, on 13 September 2024 and announced an MoU of ICWA with Central University of Rajasthan. Hon'ble Vice-President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar is the President of ICWA. 

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 23 September 2024 between ICWA and Central University of Rajasthan, which will be valid for a period of three years. 

The objective of the MoU is to organise studies and seminars on agreed topics on international affairs and Indian foreign policy and both parties have agreed to collaborate in the following manner:

1. Organizing joint events;
2. Undertaking joint studies through mutually agreed modalities on issues of common interest;
3. If requested by Central University of Rajasthan, ICWA will consider offering internships to students of Central University of Rajasthan, aimed at building their capacity / skills in international affairs and foreign policy.
